To come back momentarily to the problem of Illich and the problem of organized ignorance, Illich says we must close our schools because the answers are now outside, and let the kids go back to work and run around the community and get an education. I’m suggesting that the answer is not that, but to put the questions in the classroom, and to start a real dialogue there.
